Windows and curtain walls have a major impact on energy performance, comfort, moisture-related durability risks, view and light, and sound control. Tremendous gains have been made in glazing technology in the last 25 or 30 years, but performance still depends on appropriate design and specification. This recorded presentation discusses various performance factors and how to design and specify for higher performance.
This presentation was originally part of our “Special Edition” LAB Event in July 2015 — “All About the Glazing: A Building Science BBQ”.
